Downstream Patches for Catlab 0.17

This is a tracking issue for AlgebraicJulia packages that need updating to Catlab 0.17. ~~I'll update this PR if there are others besides DataMigrations and AlgebraicRewriting.~~

@sdwfrost has got a head start on a workable solution; I'm linking his PRs below. Since the changes span a few codebases, this will either require a thorough review, or Simon's changes can be used as a starting off point at the very least.
