Description

At GLBIO, found out about [scds](https://github.com/ kostkalab/scds).
How much does Alevin processing take care of doublets for us? But for non-Alevin processed data, do we need to do this (eg non-Tag based stuff)?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked scds project and the issue’s question about how Alevin processing handles doublets. Compare that with the stated case of non-Alevin, non-Tag-based data; the issue does not identify repository files or tests. Done means determining whether additional doublet detection is needed for those data and documenting a clear next step.
