Description

I use ACF Pro.
On the administration side, I use a google map field.

The field and the search bar are displayed but no background map. Only the words “Sorry we have no imagery here”.

For information :

  • the bug is only visible on safari
  • the same version of safari can display google maps correctly.
  • the wordpress installation is completely blank (except for ACF)
  • NO plugins installed
  • the theme is “twenty-twenty-two” without ANY modifications
  • Everything works perfectly under Chrome

VERSIONS :
SAFARI: Version 15.6.1
WORDPRESS 6.6.2
THEME: running Twenty Twenty-Two theme.
ACF PRO: Version 6.3.8

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Google map field in the WordPress administration area with ACF Pro 6.3.8 on Safari 15.6.1, using the reported blank installation and Twenty Twenty-Two theme. Compare the result with Chrome and verify that map imagery displays in Safari without affecting the search bar or other browsers.
