Description

Hello,

I'm heavily using the Inner Blocks functionality for one of my clients. It's just amazing, thanks for all your work !!

My client said that switch from edit to preview mode is a loss of time when he creates heavy pages.

Is it possible to add the <InnerBlock /> tag after the ACF forms, in the edit mode, to allow the creation of Inner Block ?

I admit it would be a bit weird and far from the way Gutenberg worked. But maybe it would be interesting?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing Inner Blocks functionality and the ACF forms' edit and preview modes. Determine whether Inner Blocks can be created directly in edit mode, then define the expected editor behavior and boundaries before implementation; the issue names no files or tests to run.
