Description

Hey,

Despite setting the position to "side" regular fields still appear below the content. Is there a way i can get this working?

I understand that the position option is for the classic editor, but it feels like this should work for regular fields.

Thanks

Research direction

Begin by reproducing the reported behavior with a regular field whose position is set to "side", comparing it with the classic editor behavior described in the issue. Done means regular fields configured for the side position render in the sidebar, or the issue documents a confirmed limitation and its supported alternative.
