1. One of the links to the demo site on this section navigates the current tab/window to the demo site instead of opening a new tab. I'd recommend the target be adjusted so that it opens a new tab.

2. While the vast majority of data elements will want to use the forced lowercase and clean text option, that may not be desirable for customer IDs. Total hat tip and salute for the "repeat with these additional data elements" idea to limit the length of this page. Perhaps a note on the username one that says that clean text would still be good, but we don't necessarily recommend doing a forced-lower case on something that may need caps, such as a sha256 hash of an email. Forcing IDs to a lower case may cause havoc down the road when IDs don't match up in UIS

3. Just another shoutout (and there will be many more of these) that you can't work in a development environment for non-AEP customers, so the note about always working in dev first may need some adjustment.

Open help/tutorial-web-sdk/create-data-elements.md and review the demo-site link, the username guidance, and the note about working in a development environment. Update the link behavior and revise the two notes to reflect the concerns in this issue; done means all three recommendations are addressed in that file.
