Description

Good day team.
From the documentation it is not clear whether data prep functions can be applied in case of arrays and which may be the right notation.
Clients are reporting behavioral like the following:

E.G. sha256(ActiveVoucher[*].VoucherCode)

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b099a20d-28f3-4cfe-b180-3a2e11e4cee6)

The expression editor reports a parsing error.
AFAIK the data prep functions application to objects' arrays is not supported.

Could you please include a note in the documentation clarifying this point?

Thanks,
Alberto

Research direction

Start with ./help/datastreams/data-prep.md and review the sections describing data prep functions and expressions. Use sha256(ActiveVoucher[*].VoucherCode) as the example case; done means the documentation explicitly clarifies whether array fields are supported and, if so, the valid notation.
