Speed up time to Whitelist/Blacklist from Query List

Anytime I add an item to the whitelist, it takes a few minutes for it to actually be unblocked and for my devices to actually be able to connect to the blacklisted website. I was wondering if it would be possible to make the whitelisting/blacklisting of links take in effect much faster because even if I click apply, it takes some time for it to actually be applied and be effective. When I use to use Pi-Hole, the whitelisting/blacklisting process usually was a lot faster and would take effect much faster.

I already tried setting blocked_response_ttl to zero but it still takes a considerable amount of time. And even using the "check the filtering tool" in the "custom filtering" section still takes a while to take effect.

If it can’t be any faster then I would at least appreciate a loading bar or something that actually indicates that changes were made and it’s done because I have to keep going back to the “check filtering” button and constantly refresh to test and see if changes were made.
