Not obvious how to configure mode for projects generated with newer angular versions

New angular project style guidelines no longer include identifier strings like `.component`. This means that they are now just picked up as being generic HTML or typescript files.

In an ideal world the code would be updated to handle this change automatically but if that's not practical providing some guidance on how to set it up using the existing emacs mode selection framework would be useful.
