video calls result in no video

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. making a video call using imsdroid

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected output is to see video from other phone

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
imsdroid-2.548.870.apk one phone is on cyanogenmod using android 2.3, other is
on CM using android 4.2

Please provide any additional information below.

When making a call to another phone also running imsdroid, on the sending phone
I get a black picture with a white thumbnail in the lower right, while on the
receiving, I get a dark green picture with the thumbnail showing its video
camera output. I have followed the instructions at
http://code.google.com/p/imsdroid/wiki/Quick_Start, but this problem still
persists. There are no error messages. Audio does not transfer either.
