P-preferred Identity not updating

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. First Register with invalid username and password ,then register with
successful details.
2.Observe wireshark logs , in the REGISTER logs P-preferred Identity is not
updating when logged in with the valid details.It is not updating with the new
values ,it is taking the values which are unsuccessful credentials.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
P-preferred Identity should update in the logs , if it is wrong/correct
credentials.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest Imsdroid and Android 2.3

No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the invalid-then-valid registration sequence on Imsdroid with Android 2.3 and inspect the REGISTER traffic in Wireshark or Android logs; done means the P-preferred Identity uses the valid credentials after the second registration.
