Branches in this repository (clean-up)

Can we do clean-up of branches (I would propose to do it for any module we are releasing)?

There are ~10 branches. I assume some of those were already merged, thus can be deleted. I deleted few, still more to do.

No files or tests are mentioned. Review the repository's remaining branches, verify which have already been merged, and remove only obsolete branches; done means the branch list is cleaned up without deleting active work.
