I2CEeprom library update

I have reported an issue in I2CEeprom library and proposed an update in the below PR:

But I haven't received an answer yet.
An alternative is to use a fork of this library (mine or another one from ci-test team where the pull requests can be submitted for review, discussions and merges.

Start by reviewing the reported I2CEeprom issue and the proposed update in the linked mbed pull request. Compare that proposal with the available library forks; the issue is done when a maintainer decides which source to review and adopt, or closes it in favor of a maintained fork.
