### What happened?
The integration workflow fails, because it cannot access `env`. I suspect this is a bug in the GitHub runner, please see my bug report here https://github.com/actions/runner/issues/1915.
### Suggestion
Hard code Go version until we see the outcome of the bug report mentioned above.
