説明
currently fails when the matrix has been resized;
* bilinear: ledges are not detected at all due to blurring
* neighbor: fails the `abs(nh - nhf) >= 0.1` tolerance check
probable fix: during calibration, look for ledges and matches at +1 and +2 pixels (horizontally and vertically) and allow fractional cell sizes
