Staging website review – September 2025

## Summary
Initial review of the staging website vs. current production site. Main concerns are readability (fonts & uppercase usage), spacing/alignment issues, and some design/UI polish. Some points are more pressing, others can be handled in future iterations.

## Global / Fonts
- Current staging fonts feel less readable than the version currently online (titles vs. body text distinction is weaker).
- Too much uppercase across pages, which reduces readability. Suggest revisiting font + casing strategy.
- Font inspiration to explore:

## Homepage
- Email collection box: spacing issue (needs more space below button).
- Email input box shadow makes alignment with arrow look odd – maybe we can remove the shadow?
- Footer icons should be light gray, not bright orange.

## Mail collection (global)
- Currently, the email collection form button just redirects back to the homepage and does not submit anything.
- This needs to be wired up to an actual service.
- Suggestion: go with **Brevo** (popular solution, good fit).
- Will require setup work and likely support from web devs to integrate properly.

## Roadmap page
- All-uppercase titles make reading harder – could be improved, but OK to ship as is.
- Content is solid, but future iteration could standardize style (e.g. uppercase only for categories).

## Publications page (ex-Resources)
- Titles/uppercase choice will affect this page too – test font + casing here.
- Sources currently in brackets – tentative, may need revisiting.
- Future improvement: ability to feature a key article at the top (e.g. **Miden Vision** – the previous way to highlight has been removed it was looking bad).

## Ecosystem page
- Partner logos are grayscale (OK), but projects (Qash, Miden Browser Wallet, Lumina Engine) are still in color. Do we want full grayscale consistency?

- Nothing major noted.

## About page
- Team section astronaut graphic: helmet is cut off – should not be cropped.
- Ensure contact email is monitored.
- Same email collection spacing issue as homepage.

## Careers page
- Updated to “General Application” only (no open roles right now).
- “Apply” button currently goes nowhere – need to link to a Google Form instead.
- No **Back** button when viewing a job – needs to be added.

Review the staging website's codebase, focusing on global styles (fonts, uppercase usage), component spacing (email collection box, footer icons), and page-specific issues (team graphic cropping, button links). Start by inspecting the homepage, roadmap, publications, ecosystem, about, and careers pages to locate the relevant CSS and component files. Test changes locally to ensure they match the design feedback before proposing updates.
