### What should be done?

We should add better testing for the ACE codegen, especially for functions and methods in the `layout` module.

### How should it be done?

We should add tests to compare the expected layout vs the generated one, for multiple scenarios e.g., w/o buses, w/o public inputs/tables ...

When we have the relevant tests
